On the heels of yesterdays State of the Union address, did you know... As of 2024, 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck (Forbes Advisor 2-15-2024), up 6% from 2023. If this pathology were a disease it would be declared the PLAGUE! In my humble opinion, Washington presently has no answers for the economy. The business community may want to ignore it, but every business is an appendage of a household, so none of us on LinkedIn escapes the reality and/or impact of this escalating statistic. We Americans are either posturing (faking it, 'till you make it, as they say) or prospering. Something just doesn't add up!
Here's the good news! A preparedness-driven economic alternative does exist, for anyone who wants an exodus from financial unpreparedness. As individuals and families use 5-10-10-75™ to practice intentional giving, reduced spending, increased saving, kinship community investing, earning PAC commissions - we can reverse this trajectory.
